I was having a conversation at work and my colleague- who came here from Vietnam to escape the end of the war at a young age- and he was talking about how Obama will be in D.C. tomorrow to speak. He asked if I was going. I said, "No. Fuck Obama. Fuck McCain and all the other politicians coming to D.C." He said...

"I thought Obama was your man?"

"He is. But he still ain't gonna do shit. I'm picking the lesser of the two evils. I believe Obama probably is a good person and he does represent a real change but he ain't gonna change any policies, especially those foreign.

"Obama stinks. McCain baby!"

"Why MCain?"

"Because he is tough. He will protect us. Protect our country and he's been through these difficult situations. Obama's a wimp."

"Haha. You're buggin dude."

"I don't wanna pay all these extra taxes with a democrat and let the sleeper cells invade America. Terrorists are all over and they will attack us if the Obama wimp is in D.C."

Today the Mencken quote is as relevent as it ever was. Keep the majority in a state of fear and anxiety so they worry about some boogiemonster 8,000 miles away. This way the government protects us. We can't fight our protectors. Do the math.
